## The History of BindKraft
During the last several years, we have been working on business WEB applications for our clients and gradually moving from traditional thick clients to complex projects which combined what would otherwise be usually implemented as separate projects.
We have been building frameworks and experimenting with different approaches to make it possible to create decoupled, but highly integrated applications, living in a shared environment where they work concurrently and take care of most of the business logic on the client side, look anyway the client prefers – as separate applications or as a single big one, or even both ways depending on a little configuration or individual user preference.
As this progressed we started forming a set of consistent techniques and frameworks that come with them. In the end, we decided to take the next logical step – bring everything together, design frameworks for the client and the server, document them so that everybody would be able to learn and use them.
We laid short and long term plans for new features, definitions of standards to enable integration between components built by different people, and gain portability.
This is what we are doing now and we hope to present the first open source consistent solution covering a wide set of features, tools and areas of application to the public this year.
